BMW ROAD IGNITIONS 

Western Road and Race Ignitions provide a wide range of replacement ignition systems, alternators and magdynamos for classic and vintage BMWs. The range covers most models from the 1923 R32 through to the 1984 R100. The ignition kits provide a complete replacement for the original system and give improvements in reliability and output, with most systems delivering a regulated 12v output. A selection of these components is shown:

   
Magdyno with digital advance to replace Bosch type D1 or D2, or Bosch battery dynos type RS1 or LS2, or similar, for 4 stroke twins (flat or parallel twins, not V-engines)

Alternator to replace Bosch Dynamos (RD, DD) or similar with 76mm diameter    

 Complete replacement ignition kit for later models, including rotor, stator coil and ignition advance unit
